    Morning

    3 hour small group lessons

Each morning students will attend 3 hours of themed classes. Lessons are broken down into sections, each with specific learning goals followed by fun revision activities to reinforce key concepts and vocabulary. Students will also be allocated time each morning to reflect on the program up to that day in their Gateway journals they are provided on the first day of their program, not only serving to improve students writing and solidify what they have learned but also act as a memento of their fun experiences in Australia. Academic content is supplemented with multimedia content, group activities, games, and presentations, using the latest trends and theories in the teaching profession. Gateway students not only improve their English but have fun doing it!

    Afternoon

    exciting excursions and activities

Every afternoon students will have the opportunity to go on excursions, sight see or take part in educational workshops. All of our excursions and workshops have specific learning objectives, goals and challenges; focused on constant active learning, ensuring that from the moment they arrive at the classroom to when they return home at the end of the day they’re practicing and improving new skills. In both Australia and Singapore we offer volunteer activities, local exchanges and the opportunity to go into a local company and see how real ‘real business’ is done as well as our fun sightseeing and must do excursions like Universal Studios in Singapore and Taronga Zoo Sydney! Click here to see a full list of our excursions in both Australia and Singapore.

    Evening

    games and workshops

Students will fill their evenings with movies, games and quizzes as well as cultural and practical workshops. Some evenings students will have the opportunity to eat out at local food establishments and expand their taste buds, while gaining an appreciation for the life and culture of the locals. When things get a bit too tiring there is a night off for students to rest and relax as they wish. We make sure our students get the full camp experience at Gateway!
